I have learned web development since 2020 and I have planned to develop my version of social media since 2021. However, I have been busy preparing for admission to KSA since 2022 and did not have time to work on it, or even think about it. In 2026, many people I know advised me to open up about myself, so I decided to do so. chansol.info was created on September 3rd, 2026 and it is still being updated, containing over 50 pages.
This website does NOT contain any kinds of professional knowledge. I have never received specialized education in the humanities or the arts. I think that creativity arise from crossing the borders. (the border between being amateur and being professional, the borders between different disciplines, etc.) If you are looking for some professional knowledge, look elsewhere.
Also, I do agree that the most personal is the most creative. All content of this website is strictly personal. However, that does NOT mean that I will disclose everything about me. Addressing certain topics make me perplexed, although I will try to open up more.
Just as I am not professional in the Humanities and the Arts, I am also not professional in English and other foreign languages. However, I believe that our language shapes our worldview and thus that each message could be delivered more appropriately in a certain language. So, although I understand my English still needs to be improved, I will use it whenever I think that it would deliver my message better. I am also sparing my time on studying languages, so I appreciate any kinds of feedback on my language or writing.
My name O Chansol is written last name first, in Eastern style. So, O is my family name and Chansol is my given name. In western style, it is Chansol O.
Also, the official spelling of my name is Oh Chansol, not O Chansol. (This is actually common in Korea, because some systems do not allow the family name to be a single character.) However, many people who know me remember it to be the latter, so I decided to spell that way in informal situations. I personally don't care whether you call me O Chansol or Chansol O, O Chansol or Oh Chansol.
I first discovered scaruffi.com in 2024. Ever since, I have read many pages of it and it has helped me design the structure and the format of chansol.info. Although the content of chansol.info itself has nothing to do with it, I would at least like to thank Scaruffi and mention his website. Just in case it violates copyright, I will edit or delete it.
